FULL ACCOUNT
Between 1986 and 1989, four couples were murdered along the Colonial Parkway in Virginia, a scenic road linking Jamestown, Williamsburg, and Yorktown. The victims were found in or near their vehicles in secluded parking areas, killed under varying but methodical circumstances. Investigators believe a single perpetrator — possibly someone with law enforcement knowledge — was responsible for all four double murders, given the lack of witnesses and evidence at scenes. Despite being one of the FBI's most prominent cold cases, no suspect has ever been charged, and the Colonial Parkway Killer remains unidentified.
