FULL ACCOUNT
Frederick and Rosemary West murdered at least 12 young women, including two of their own daughters, at their home at 25 Cromwell Street in Gloucester, England, between 1967 and 1987. Victims were sexually abused, tortured, and buried beneath the house and garden, which became known in the press as the "House of Horrors." Fred West was arrested in 1994 after a tip about his missing daughter and hanged himself in prison before trial in January 1995. Rose West was convicted of 10 murders in 1995 and sentenced to life imprisonment. She remains the only person convicted of the crimes.
