Suzanne Morphew, a 49-year-old Colorado woman, disappeared on May 10, 2020, Mother's Day, while reportedly riding her bicycle near her home in Chaffee County. Her husband, Barry Morphew, was arrested in May 2021 and charged with her first-degree murder, despite her body never being found. The charges were unexpectedly dismissed in April 2022 due to prosecutorial misconduct related to undisclosed evidence. Barry Morphew was re-indicted in November 2023 on charges of first-degree murder and evidence tampering. Suzanne's remains have never been located and the case proceeds toward trial.
