Witness Account
Between 1982 and 1985, a gang of violent criminals carried out a series of attacks on supermarkets and other commercial targets in Belgium, killing 28 people and injuring 40 in apparently motiveless raids. The killers operated with military precision — a large man, a shooter, and a lookout — yet left witnesses and were described as deliberately cruel. Despite being Belgium's most expensive criminal investigation, the perpetrators were never identified, and the statute of limitations expired in 2015. Theories about the killers range from far-right extremists to rogue security service operatives. The identity and true motive of the Brabant Killers remains unknown.
