Stacy Peterson — The Disappearing Wife

Stacy Ann Peterson, the fourth wife of Illinois State Police Sergeant Drew Peterson, disappeared on October 28, 2007. She was 23 years old. Following her disappearance, the death of Drew Peterson's third wife Kathleen Savio — initially ruled an accidental drowning in 2004 — was reclassified as homicide. Drew Peterson was convicted of Kathleen Savio's murder in 2012 and sentenced to 38 years in prison. He was also charged with soliciting Stacy's murder in 2016. Stacy has never been found and remains a missing person; her case is classified as a probable homicide with no body recovered.
