Nicole Brown Simpson and her friend Ronald Goldman were found brutally stabbed to death outside her Brentwood, California home on June 12, 1994. Her ex-husband, former NFL star O.J. Simpson, was charged with the double murder in what became "the Trial of the Century." Simpson was acquitted in a controversial verdict on October 3, 1995, after a racially charged 11-month trial. He was later found liable in a civil suit and ordered to pay $33.5 million in damages. The criminal case officially remains unsolved as no one has ever been convicted; O.J. Simpson died in April 2024.
