FULL ACCOUNT
Ian Brady and Myra Hindley murdered five children aged 10 to 17 in and around Saddleworth Moor in Greater Manchester between 1963 and 1965. Their crimes included torture and sexual abuse, and Brady recorded audio tapes during one of the murders. Both were convicted in 1966; Hindley died in prison in 2002 and Brady died in Ashworth Psychiatric Hospital in 2017. The location of one victim, 12-year-old Keith Bennett, was never revealed by either killer despite years of appeals from his mother, and his remains have never been found.
